What I'm up to right now...

Where have the last two years gone?

Well mostly I got really passionate about rock climbing and marathon training. Unfortunately, that didn't leave much time for playing music. I'm now in the middle of a big move and looking for work. I feel a bit like when I decided to move to Boston actually. I finally have some time on my hands again and thankfully am feeling pretty inspired to play too. We'll see if I can get some new tunes going. In the meantime, I'm going to try and freshen up the site with some of my other interests and hobbies. Check out the new cooking section.

New song posted and playing with new band...

I just finished recording a song I've been working on for quite some time. It's a folky mostly acoustic thing called "Love Is Like A Song". You can check it out in the media section. In other news, I've started playing with a new band. So far things are very promising, we've got a number of songs in development. We are looking for a drummer so contact me if you are interested.

Recording & bandless again...

My time with the Brilliant Brigade has come to an end so I'm now looking for a new band. I think I might spend some time working out exactly what type of band I want to be in and then try to form it myself instead of joining an already existing project. In the meantime I'm working on recording some of my own songs. I hope to have at least one song up before the end of June.

Upcoming show with new band...

I'm playing guitar for The Brilliant Brigade. We will be playing a show on March 20th. Myspace will soon have the details up.

Playing, studying, recording...

I've been playing a lot of guitar and have found some pretty cool people to play with. I've also been studying some jazz theory again and will hopefully post some new original music soon. Lastly, I've started recording other bands now. Check me out on myspace.com to see updates on this.

Sentient End is no more

The band didn't work out, but luckily we were able to at least finish the recording of our EP. You can download the tunes from the homepage. I am now looking for a new band or project to join.

It's been a long hard journey, but it looks like the Sentient End EP should finally be ready by the end of June. Check the official site for updates. Big things coming down the line...

New Year... Happy Indeed!

The work on Sentient End's debut EP continues but in the meantime, Jill and I have started playing short acoustic sets of some of the songs. Make sure to check the band's site for any show listings.

Long time, no see... hisashiburi...

The past 9 months have been extremely busy. Jill and I have written 10 songs for Sentient End and are in the process of recording our debut EP. I hope to have the EP ready for distribution in early 2006. Much of the last few months have been spent on trying to find a permanent drummer and bassist. We are currently looking for a studio drummer for the recording sessions. Check the Sentient End website for all the details. I've also used the time for learning more about recording and production. I have recently recorded a song for Kyle Morse. Once it is complete, I hope to post it for download.

Wow, the holidays have been busy!

The past month has been super productive. Jill and I have recorded our first song as Sentient End and posted it on our new website. We have also spent the past week working like crazy and have finished 3 more songs. We will be working with Doug and JD to complete them and of course post them on the site. If people's reaction to our first song is indicative, this new year has a lot in store for us 8-)

New song and finally a band name!

Ok, so we've finally decided on a band name... Sentient End. Hope everyone likes it and in case you don't know what sentient means, click here. Also, we have completed our second song. Work continues on others. We will be practicing with Doug Seitz and JD Hill over the Thanksgiving holiday. Be sure to check back often for updates. I will soon start working on a mailing list, guestbook and counter for the site.

New band with Jill Lancraft!

This is huge news... Jill Lancraft (of Red Hot Mammas and No Stars Tonight fame) and I have decided to start a new band together! We have completed one song so far and have started work on many others. We plan to start recording a demo by year's end. A tour of Japan will surely follow!

Wrote a new song!

Well, I seem to be out of my writing slump finally. Finished a song and will be recording it soon. It's an acoustic number dealing with love, it's effects on you and it's similarities to music. I'll post it as soon as I have a decent recording of it.

New site is up!

Ok, so I finally updated the site. Hopefully many more improvements to come along.
